Youth Parliament, established on July 29, 2018, in Bangladesh, has played a vital role in promoting youth participation in social leadership development. This year, the highly anticipated Youth Parliament Fellowship 2023 is pleased to unveil the names of 9 accomplished trainers who will impart their expertise to enhance the skills of 20 Bangladeshi youth. These trainers will provide specialized skill development training in their respective fields, ensuring a remarkable learning experience for the participants.
1.Sarker Tanvir Ahmed
Sarker Tanvir Ahmed is the Founder and President of Youth Parliament. He holds an MSS and BSS in Economics from Varendra University, a highly acclaimed Bangladeshi achiever who received the prestigious Diana Award. As the President of the Youth Parliament and a Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Young Leader (QCT) of UK Royal Family, he empowers young individuals in parliamentary leadership and civic learning, leaving a lasting impact on society.
2. Samira Akter
As a dynamic, self-driven and dependable professional, she has more than two years of working experience in development communications. She is enthusiastic and strategically sound with a proven track record with UN, GoB project and communication firms. Currently, she is working at Visual Communication Ltd. as a Senior Executive.She has taken her BSS and MSS in Mass Communication & Journalism from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
3. Bebak More
He has completed his BBA with Finance major from Rajshahi University IBA and is pursuing MBA. In addition to his academic life, he has been involved in various organizations. Currently Mr. Bebak More is working as General Secretary of Youth Parliament He is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Award( UK Royal Family).
4. Afroja Sharmin Suvha
She holds an MBA in HR from Daffodil International University. With 8 years of HR and teaching experience she trains entrepreneurs at UCEP Bangladesh and SME Foundation. In 2012, she founded Humanity Foundation. Her accolades like DIU Business Festival Fair winner, Best Employee (DPI), Best Youth Speaker (YP).
5. M.F.U. Shahed
He is a graduate in BSc in CSE from Daffodil International University. He is a highly skilled professional Graphics Designer and accomplished Wedding Photographer & Cinematographer. He serves as CEO & Founder the Moments of Your Life Wedding Photography & Cinematography group and Moments Wedding Planner & Event Management, he ensures exceptional service delivery.
6. Raisa Mehzabeen
She is a 3rd-year student at Government College of Applied Human Science, specializes in Food and Nutrition. She actively promotes women’s nutrition education, youth leadership, and writes for The Weekly BLiTZ & The Country Today. She is associated with Youth Parliament as Secretary and Center for Creative Youths as a Trainer.
7. A.N.M. Musfiq Uzzaman
He is a graduate an LLB from Varendra University and currently pursuing an LLM program at the University of Asia Pacific. He has an impressive record an International and National Champion in legal competitions. Also founded the Social Code Foundation and working in Operations and Legal at YOUTH 360. He is also a distinguished graduate of UMSAILS-UAP Spring School-2022.
8. Al-Mometh Siddique
He is a graduate in BBA from National University and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Accounting. With a strong commitment as volunteer and trainer, he has gained valuable experience through associations with Scouting and the Red Crescent. His focus extends to youth leadership, social awareness, and skill development initiatives.
9. Md. Sohel Rana
Currently enrolled in BBA Professional Programme (L-3,S-II) at Patuakhali Science and Technology University. Ex Executive Secretary and Current Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs in Youth Parliament. Joint Convener of SBH Committee, Badhon (PSTU Unit, Barisal Zone). Active member in Bangladesh Scouts. Previously worked as University Correspondent & Blog Writer, currently working as a freelance content writer.
