Bio of Mr. Abhishek Panwarra ( Ambassador of India, Youth Parliament Model SAARC)
Abhishek Panwar, a dedicated social activist from Indore, India, is renowned for his significant contributions to youth leadership and environmental advocacy. With a Master of Arts in Political Science focusing on International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Abhishek has combined his academic expertise with a fervent commitment to community service.
Over the past decade, Abhishek has been at the forefront of youth and environmental initiatives. His active involvement in major climate events, including the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) India 2023 and the 18th United Nations Climate Change Conference of Youth (COY 18) in Dubai, underscores his dedication to climate action and sustainability. His efforts were recognized with the South Asia Regional Brilliance Award in 2022, highlighting his impactful contributions to the region.
As the convener of Chetna Atal Yuva Mandal, Abhishek leads a youth organization focused on community development and social activities in Indore. His work primarily centers on Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE), where he collaborates with government bodies and NGOs to enhance climate education, public awareness, and engagement. His initiatives align closely with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Climate Action (SDG 13), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).
Abhishek’s extensive involvement in international organizations, including Youth Parliament, YOUNGO, the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), and the Indian Youth Biodiversity Network (IYBN). His active participation to the 3rd Model Youth SAARC Summit 2021, further demonstrates his leadership and advocacy skills. Abhishek’s work continues to inspire and mobilize communities toward a sustainable future, embodying his unwavering dedication to both climate action and youth empowerment.
