Yesterday 03 May 2023, Youth Parliament Central Secretariat Meeting was held to discuss various agendas. The meeting was presided by the President of the Youth Parliament Mr. Sarker Tanvir Ahmed, while the General Secretary Mr. Bebak More also joined.
Several discussion was passed regarding the agendas including the reception of new central members, the formation of the central secretariat, official working hours, budgeting, new MP interviews, and fellowship.Three new members, Raisha, Mehjabeen, Kawser Ahmed, and Meherab Mushfiq were officially welcomed into the organization.
The new team reformation and responsibilities were distributed among several individuals, including Md. Sohel Rana, Asif Ahmed, Tasfia Sara Chowdhury, Ankon Mometh, Raisha Mehzabeen, Zulkar Nayyen, Tanmoi Toma, Atikul Islam, and Meherab Mushfiq.
The details of the positions assigned to the members during the Central Secretariat Meeting:
Md. Sohel Rana, Asif Ahmed, Tasfia Sara Chowdhury, and Ankon Mometh (Additional) were appointed as Secretary (Parliamentary Affairs). Their responsibilities will include coordinating with MPs and ensuring that their concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner. They will also be responsible for preparing reports on the performance of the MPs and presenting them to the Central Secretariat.
Ankon Mometh was appointed as Secretary (Finance), and will be responsible for managing the organization’s finances and preparing budgets. He will also be responsible for preparing financial reports and presenting them to the Central Secretariat.
Raisha Mehzabeen was appointed as Secretary (Fellowship), and will be responsible for organizing fellowship programs and events for the members of the organization. She will also be responsible for maintaining a database of the members and ensuring that they are engaged in activities that align with the organization’s objectives.
Zulkar Nayyen and Tanmoi Toma were appointed as Secretary (Award), and will be responsible for recognizing and awarding members who have made significant contributions to the organization. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the selection process for the awards is fair and transparent.
Atikul Islam, Meherab Mushfiq, and Asif Ahmed (Additional Responsibility) were appointed as Secretary (Office). Their responsibilities will include managing the office and ensuring that it runs smoothly. They will also be responsible for maintaining a database of the organization’s assets and ensuring that they are well-maintained.
Overall, the individuals appointed to these positions will play critical roles in the organization’s success, and their efforts will be instrumental in achieving its objectives. The Central Secretariat Meeting was a key milestone in the organization’s efforts to strengthen its internal structure, and these appointments mark an important step forward in this regard.
